First Baptist Church of Paola

Dr. J is a Nebraska native who grew up on an acreage out in the country. He attended Faith Baptist Bible College for his undergraduate degree in Biblical Studies and Faith Baptist Theological Seminary for his Master of Divinity. He earned his PhD in Biblical Studies from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Kansas City, Missouri. He has served as a chaplain, teacher and pastor. His wife's name is Bethany. She grew up in the Kansas City area, including living just east of Paola. Dr. J loves to play basketball and learn new things. He enjoys playing the guitar, drums, and also enjoys riding his scooter.
